It’s a frightening fact of business life that we generally spend six times as much money attempting to attract new customers to our businesses than we do to up-sell, on-sell and generally over service our existing customers.

Another frightening fact…68% of customers who stop buying from an organisation do so simply because of a perceived indifference. The business actually didn’t do anything wrong; the customer just thought the organisation didn’t care enough!

Referrals are key to business stability and growth and your clients can become your best referral partners. This makes sense but is often hard to get right. In our February sales enablement webinar, we will be joined by Geraint Thomas of ActionCoach to look at ways in which you can build effective referral marketing systems.

Delivered by Geraint Thomas from ActionCOACH Bristol, the first session will focus on turning your clients into raving fans:

Raving fans are customers who are so over the moon with your business and service you provide that they will not only tell all their friends and colleagues about you but, actually bring them to you and help you sell to them.

Would you like your customers to shout your name from rooftops telling people why, if they’re not dealing with you, they’re missing out on something awesome! Geraint Thomas from ActionCOACH-Bristol will give you some simple tips that you can introduce in your business straight away. They will help you keep your customers coming back, bringing their friends with them.

In the session Geraint will cover:

  • Critical non-essentials - what are they and why they are important to creating raving fans
  • The ladder of loyalty - and how to get your customers to travel up it
  • Retention - How do you get your customers to stay at the top of the loyalty ladder

 

Delivered by Yafit Davis, MD of YBDT, the second session will cover how YBDT have successfully created a customer referral system:

Over the first lockdown, I read the book The Referral Engine by John Jantsch which covers referral marketing system. I have used the book to introduce a cultural change in our business as well as build some effective systems which supports increased customer referrals being made.

In my session I will take you through the key steps we took to get there.

Geraint has over 20 years' experience in coaching and facilitation, and a strong background in leadership development and team dynamics.
He has been a coach for over 10 years and has been with ActionCOACH Bristol since January 2021.

Geraint has worked across professional services, creative industries, media & PR, banking and finance arenas working with businesses and business owners to increase their profitability, improve their work/life balance and strengthen their team relationships. His career has taken him from professional actor to professional development consultant and coach, managing large, international training projects. His natural ability for storytelling, communication and interpersonal skills secured his success and he has built an extensive repertoire of delivery subjects.
